It is assumed that you are in Admin Section ACP.
In General Tab, click on Avatar Settings in Board Configuration,
Here you can configure all the Avatar Related Settings
It’s advised to Increase the Dimension and Maximum upload size limit as default is just 6 Kbs

Deam, I’ve been trying for about 3 hours to find out where to activate the avatarsuckers in my board now, and finally I found your post. I just can’t really understand why I did’nt check the front page of my ACP. Kind of a stupid place to put that instead of just putting ut up there in the menu some place.
